THE LIST

Over the course of the holiday season, we will be adding a large amount of updates to the section of this site called The List. What exactly is it? The List is a comprehensive directory of the artists and groups that Lou has seen perform live, with those he has interviewed further marked.

Beginning with his first concert, Black Sabbath with opener Ted Nugent and Frank Zappa as the emcee, Brutus has done his best to keep track of each of the acts he’s seen onstage. These range from the artists at giant mega-festivals to small, private performances from a Who’s Who of the music world. The array of musicians on The List is breathtaking. Everyone from AC/DC to Frank Sinatra, Metallica to Lady Gaga, The Dead Kennedys to Meghan Trainor, and everyone in between.

Lou has spent the last several years cataloging the tickets, passes, and other music memorabilia he’s saved from the thousands of live music events he’s attended, while simultaneously researching each event to make sure that every band, even obscure openers, are added to The List. He cross references his memorabilia with many of the excellent sites on the web which feature setlist, venue, and tour information from through the years.

Please take a moment to read thru The List. Hopefully, it will inspire you keep track of the concerts that you’ve seen, so you can start a list of your own! Check it out here.
